The A500 tubes offer commendable oxidation resistance, pitting protection in acidic environments, resistance to crevice corrosion, robust strength, and durability. These characteristics make them suitable for use in challenging conditions due to their toughness and hardness. The ASTM A500 Tube is advantageous in numerous industrial sectors due to its superior general features, which include solid mechanical properties and commendable corrosion resistance.
The product range of ASME SA500 Tubes that we maintain is produced using advanced technology and modern machinery, resulting in a robust construction. The high quality of these tubes has led to their widespread popularity in various applications. Amardeep Steel Center is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of ASTM A500 Grade B Pipes, available in a variety of dimensions and shapes. The pipes are available in diameters ranging from ¼ inch to 24 inches, with wall thicknesses from 3mm to 12mm, depending on the pipe diameter. The specification includes grades A, B, and C, each with different mechanical properties.
Specifically, the ASTM A500 Grade C Pipe boasts a minimum tensile strength of 427MPa and a minimum yield strength of 317MPa, making it the strongest in terms of tensile strength among the grades. Conversely, Grade A of the ASTM A500 Steel Pipe has the lowest tensile strength, at 310MPa, with a minimum yield strength of 228MPa. The pipes are available in various schedules, ranging from SCH20 to XXS, with each schedule designed to accommodate different pressure and temperature conditions. Among these, the ASTM A500 Schedule 40 Pipe is known for its balance between strength and ductility and is capable of handling moderate pressures and temperatures.
The pipes are available with different finishes, and the most common is the ASTM A500 Black Steel Pipe, which has a dark-colored iron oxide surface.
